We have assembled a treatment team consisting of highly qualified and experienced therapists. Each of our staff members brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the centre.
Director
In the forefront is Steven Thomson the Director of Harmony House. Steven holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Strathclyde , Glasgow . After joining the fellowship in 2001 Steven's passion for working for the recovery of addicts led to the establishment of Serendipity, a Tertiary Care Centre. It's contribution towards extended recovery was formally recognised by the Department of Social Development, who awarded the centre official recognition in respect of a license in terms of the Prevention and Treatment of Drug Dependency Act, 1992 (Act 20 of 1992). In addition Serendipity feeds four half-way houses where recovering addicts enjoy extended care whilst working and partcipating in fellowship activities. Of note, Steven is a qualified paramedic and renders a valuable service to communities and is on call for our centre should any emergency arise.
